A Day in the Family
Salma was a dedicated mother who managed her house and simultaneously worked at an office. Every morning she would wake up first, ensuring the entire home stayed clean.
Her husband Karim was a father who went to work early in the morning. They had two children - a boy and a girl who went to school.
The morning routine was always busy. Salma would wake the children, then wash their faces, prepare their breakfast. Children would come out of their rooms with sleepy eyes.
Karim as a father would help. He would open the door, clean the dining area, and ensure everyone ate breakfast on time.
Everyone would eat together. Children would drink milk, parents would drink tea. This was their family time when everyone shared their plans for the day.
Then everyone would rush. Father would go to work, children would go to school, and mother would get ready to go to the office. But first Salma would quickly clean the house, wash the dishes.
All day everyone was busy. Karim worked at his office, children worked hard at school, and Salma managed both office work and home responsibilities.
In the evening everyone would return home. Children were tired, they would go to their rooms, do homework. Father was tired from work, he would sit in the living room.
Salma would get busy again with cooking. She would prepare dinner, clean the kitchen, ensure everything was ready.
Mother would call everyone to eat. Again the whole family would sit together. Children would share their school stories, father would talk about the office, mother would listen to everyone.
After dinner, father would help wash the dishes. This was his way to support mother who was already so tired. Children would clean their rooms, organize their beds.
Some time later everyone would sit together in the living room. This was rest time, when no one was busy with work, everyone just enjoyed each other's company.
Children would go to sleep first. Salma would go to their room, ensure they were properly sleeping in their beds, close the door softly.
Then Karim and Salma would sit for a while. The two parents would discuss children's education, house expenses, future plans. They were tired but satisfied that they were providing a good home for children.
Finally they would also go to sleep in their bed. Their home was peaceful, all doors closed, all lights off. Tomorrow would start the same busy routine again.
Salma says, "Family life means constantly being busy, but this is the most fulfilling. When you wake in the morning and see your children, when you work in your house to clean, when you eat together as a family - these small moments make life meaningful. As a mother and a working woman, I'm always tired, but when I see my children peacefully sleeping in their room, when my husband helps wash dishes after dinner, I realize this home, this house - this is my everything. Every door in this house leads to a room filled with memories. When father works hard to provide, when children drink milk and eat with joy, when we all rest together - these moments define our family. Busy days, tired nights, but every morning when I wake, I know I have to wash, clean, work - because this home, this family deserves the best. Being a parent means sacrifice, but when your child looks at you with love, all tiredness disappears. This house is not just a building, it's a home where mother and father together create a safe space for their children. So keep working, keep cleaning, keep washing, keep eating together, and cherish these simple moments. Because someday when children grow up and leave this room, this door, this house, you'll miss these busy mornings, these tired evenings, all of this."
Salma's dedication to family, her balance between home and work, and her love for her children are inspiring many parents who struggle to manage busy lives. Her story proves that with proper planning, mutual support between father and mother, and unconditional love, any family can thrive. Her house is now a model of healthy family life where everyone contributes, everyone rests together, everyone eats together, and everyone grows together.
