The Builder's Pride
Karim was a skilled builder who could build beautiful structures with his tools and his hands. His workshop was full of wooden planks, stone blocks, and various tools.
"To build properly," Karim would say, "you need to measure carefully, dig firmly, and fix everything solidly." He taught his apprentice every skill with patience.
One day they started building a new house. First, they needed to dig the foundation. "Dig deep and make it firm," Karim instructed. "Foundation must be solid."
When the foundation was ready, they started with walls. Stone by stone, they built firmly. Each stone was measured, each piece fitted perfectly. "Check the level," Karim said. "Everything must be level and solid."
Then came wooden frames. Karim took his tools - drill, nails, screws - and carefully fixed each piece. "Wooden structures need special care," he explained. "Measure twice, cut once. Nail firmly, screw tightly."
The roof was crucial. "A roof protects everything," Karim said. "It must be fixed solidly, built firmly." They climbed the ladder, carried wooden beams, measured carefully, drilled holes, fixed everything with nails and screws.
"Tools are important," Karim taught. "But knowing how to use them is more important. Drill straight, nail firmly, screw tight, measure accurate, level properly. Every tool has a purpose, every step needs precision."
Months later, the house was complete. The stone walls stood firm and solid. The wooden roof was fixed firmly. Every part was built with care, every detail was measured and level.
"This is beautiful," the owner said. "Solid construction, firm structure."
Karim was proud but humble. "Good building comes from proper tools, careful measuring, firm foundation, solid materials like stone and wood, and most importantly, attention to detail. When you dig, dig deep. When you build, build firmly. When you fix something with nails or screws, fix it solidly. When you measure, be precise. When you check level, be accurate. A builder creates not just structures, but safety, comfort, pride."
Years later, Karim's structures still stood firm and solid. His wooden roofs didn't leak, his stone walls didn't crack. Every nail was fixed firmly, every screw was tight, every measurement was accurate, every level was perfect.
His apprentice, who was now a skilled builder himself, taught others: "Take your tools - drill, nails, screws, ladder, level - and learn to use them properly. Dig foundations deep. Build walls firm. Fix roofs solidly. Measure everything. Whether stone or wood, whether nailing or screwing, whether digging or building - do it right. Karim sir taught me that a builder is not just someone who makes structures. A builder is someone who creates something solid, something firm, something that lasts. So be proud of your work, use your tools well, and always build with care."
