A Golden Anniversary to Remember
The entire family had gathered to celebrate my grandfather and grandmother's 50th wedding anniversary. We all showed cooperation in making the arrangement for this celebration. My older brother found the venue and his contribution was truly thoughtful. Fortunately, we found a wonderful garden restaurant where the surrounding environment was very beautiful. When the grandparents entered the hall, they were delighted and we all felt happy seeing the joy on their faces. My grandfather shared that their long relationship had survived because of mutual willingness to understand and being sympathetic toward each other. In her speech, grandmother said that our family's encouraging attitude always inspired them. Everyone was sitting in a comfortable atmosphere, chatting and reminiscing about old times. My younger sister had made a video for them featuring family members' words of appreciation. Watching that video made both grandparents emotional. My father said that their relationship was a promising example for all of us and we could learn so much from them. After this celebration, I realized that family love and togetherness are life's greatest treasures.
