The Evening Sky
Rahim had worked all day in the hot sun. Now evening had come, the sun was setting, and the sky was breathtaking - not too hot, not too cold, just perfect.
He stepped outside, went to his rooftop. The air was cool and gentle, a welcome change after the warm day. The sky was no longer bright sunny blue, it was turning into beautiful shades.
"Weather is perfect today," Rahim thought. It was so hot during the day, but now everything was calm and cool. Winter was coming, he could feel it in the air.
As the sun set, the sky changed colors. Bright orange, warm red, gentle purple - it was like a painting. The light was softening, darkness was approaching.
"Sitting outside is so peaceful," Rahim told his wife who came to join him. "All day hot, sunny weather. But now so calm, so cool."
As night fell, the sky became completely dark. But then slowly, stars started appearing. One by one, they began to shine, making the dark sky bright again in a different way.
"Look at the moon," his wife pointed. The moon was rising, bright and beautiful. Its light was gentle, not harsh like the sun's bright light.
"Moon's shine is different from sun's," Rahim observed. "Sun is bright and hot, gives warm light. Moon gives cool, gentle light. Both make the sky bright, but differently."
They sat outside for hours, enjoying the cool air, watching stars shine, feeling the gentle breeze. The night was calm, the sky was dark but filled with bright stars and shining moon.
"I prefer winter nights," his wife said. "Weather is cool, not too hot like summer. Air is fresh, sky is clear, stars shine brighter."
"Yes," Rahim agreed. "Sunny days are bright and hot. Winter brings cold, but nights become more beautiful. Moon shines, stars are bright, air is cool and calm."
Years later, when Rahim told his grandchildren about appreciating nature, he taught: "Notice the weather - when sun makes everything hot and bright, when winter cold comes, when sky changes from sunny blue to dark night. Go outside, feel the air - sometimes warm, sometimes cool, always gentle if you're calm. Look at the sky - bright with sunlight in day, dark but beautiful with moonlight and starshine at night. Appreciate when weather is hot, warm, sunny. But also appreciate when it's cool, cold, calm. Sun's bright light gives us energy. Moon's gentle shine gives us peace. Stars make dark sky bright. Cool air after a hot day feels amazing. Calm nights in winter are precious. Every weather, every time of day, every season - they all have beauty. So don't stay inside always. Go outside, feel air, watch sky, see sun, moon, stars. Whether hot or cold, sunny or dark, bright or gentle - nature always has something beautiful to show."
His grandchildren now also enjoy outside time. They watch the sun set, see the moon shine, count stars in the dark sky, feel cool air, appreciate calm nights. They learned that beauty exists in all weather - hot sunny days, cool winter evenings, bright mornings, dark calm nights - everything.
