The First Drive
Sania was going to drive a car for the first time today. She was scared but also excited. Her instructor said, "Don't worry, be careful and slow. That's the way to learn."
Sania sat in the car's seat, hands on the wheel. "First, start the engine," the instructor said. "Then gently press the gas, very slow. Not too fast."
The car slowly moved forward. Sania was nervous, gripping the wheel tightly. "Now turn left at the corner," the instructor directed. "Slowly, carefully."
She turned the wheel left. The car went around the corner. "Good! Now go straight," the instructor said. "Keep it slow and steady."
Suddenly, a dog crossed the road. "Stop!" the instructor shouted. Sania pressed the brake hard. The car stopped. Her heart was racing, she was scared.
"It's okay," the instructor said calmly. "You stopped in time. That's good. Now carefully start again. Check both left and right, then go straight."
Sania breathed deeply, checked left, checked right, then slowly pressed the gas. The car moved forward again. This time she was a bit more confident.
"Now turn right at the next corner," the instructor said. Sania carefully turned the wheel right. The car smoothly turned.
"You're doing great! Now let's park the car," the instructor said. "Slow down, turn left, then stop here."
Sania slowly turned left, approached the parking spot, and stopped the car. "How do I park?" she asked.
"Turn the wheel right, go slow, then straight, then brake and stop," the instructor guided. Sania carefully followed each step. The car was perfectly parked!
"I did it!" Sania exclaimed with pride. "I drove the car! I turned left, turned right, went straight, stopped, even parked!"
The instructor smiled. "You were scared at first, but you were careful. You kept it slow, you stopped when needed, you turned carefully. That's the right way to learn."
Weeks later, Sania was driving confidently. She knew when to press gas, when to brake, when to stop. She could turn left, turn right, go straight, park perfectly. The scared beginner was gone, replaced by a careful, confident driver.
"Driving a car," Sania told her friends, "is about being careful, not fast. It's about checking left and right before you turn. It's about knowing when to stop, when to go slow, when to press brake. Wheel in your hands, seat adjusted properly, eyes on the way ahead - these matter. Scared? Yes, at first everyone is. But with careful practice, slow learning, you gain confidence. I was scared to turn corners, scared to park, scared to stop suddenly. But the instructor taught me: check left, check right, go straight when clear, turn carefully at corners, brake gently, stop smoothly, park precisely. Now I ride with pride, not scared anymore. I drive carefully, not too fast, not too slow - just right. So if you're learning, remember: a car is not a toy. The wheel controls direction. Gas makes you go, brake makes you stop. Turn left when needed, turn right when safe, go straight when possible. Always be careful, always check your way, and never drive scared - drive smart. Park properly, stop safely, turn carefully. That's the right way. And when you finally drive away on your own, you'll feel that pride - not because you drive fast, but because you drive right."
Sania's journey from scared beginner to confident driver is inspiring many young women. They learn that it's okay to start slow, to be careful, to stop and restart. What matters is keeping hands on the wheel, eyes on the way, and driving with both caution and pride.
