Constitutional Reform Commission
6 октября 2024 года в Бангладеш была создана Constitutional Reform Commission. Renowned political scientist профессор Али Риаз был appointed главой этого девятичленного органа. Основная цель commission — пересмотреть existing provisions и дать рекомендации по necessary amendments.
Работа commission включает обеспечение equality, social justice и balance power посредством modifications конституции. Установление равновесия между тремя ветвями власти — executive, legislature и judiciary, fascist governance prevention и effective decentralization являются основными целями commission.
Эта initiative сыграет роль в создании inclusive democratic framework и разработке inclusive constitution, отражающей стремления народа. Commission представит свои окончательные recommendations interim government в течение 90 дней.
