What is life's most valuable lesson?
In today's education policy, the opportunities to learn service, empathy, and social responsibility are limited. There is a lack of initiatives to develop social consciousness and idealism among students. As a result, the younger generation is becoming accustomed to a materialistic lifestyle. Instead of selflessness, self-interest is gaining more importance to them.
Due to the absence of community service ideals in society, it has become necessary to teach them through legislation. However, changing attitudes cannot be achieved only through rules and regulations. This must be done through value-based education, which will awaken a sense of duty towards others in students.
Including community service values and moral duties in the curriculum is extremely urgent. Students must be taught the principle that doing something for others gives rise to inner strength. Through true education, a noble life and beautiful society are possible. Otherwise, current trends of moral decline will create deeper problems in society.
Main Lesson: Without teaching students selflessness, empathy, and social responsibility, building an advanced society is impossible. Good education is the only solution.
