В shaded area возле реки Ганесвари находится resting place семи мучеников. 26 июля 1971 года эти brave warriors были убиты в face-to-face battle с пакистанскими солдатами на перекрёстке трёх дорог в Назирпуре. Среди борцов за свободу четверо были из Майменсингха, двое из Нетроконы и один из Джамалпура. Среди них пять мусульманских мучеников имеют cemented graves рядом друг с другом, и два индуистских мученика похоронены рядом с ними.
