The Commonwealth Summit: Forging a Path to Sustainable Future
27-й Summit Содружества проходил в Апиа, столице Самоа, с 21 по 26 октября 2024 года. Theme конференции — «Построение resilience и укрепление collaboration для sustainable будущего».
Leaders стран-членов обсудили global economy, climate change и security. Особое внимание уделялось увеличению trade и communication, чтобы обеспечить green будущее.
Делегация Бангладеш во главе с советником по иностранным делам подчеркнула contribution молодого поколения и призвала к unified action для решения проблемы climate vulnerability.
На sideline конференции прошло 37 мероприятий, одно из которых (session) было совместно организовано Бангладеш и Самоа. На этой сессии обсуждалась роль youth empowerment в укреплении climate resilience.
