Planning Implementation: The Main Challenge

Alors que le rythme de l’urbanisation au Bangladesh est increasing, cela se fait de manière unplanned. En particulier à Dhaka et dans d’autres grandes villes, le lack of planning de l’urbanisation pourrait create des complex problems à l’avenir. La Unmanaged growth peut rendre la métropole de Dhaka uninhabitable.

Comme dans d’autres pays du monde, nous celebrate également la Journée mondiale de l’urbanisme le 8 novembre chaque année au Bangladesh. Récemment, des roundtable discussions ont eu lieu sur la planification urbaine et son implementation.

Les master plans créés pour Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna et Rajshahi ont été partiellement executed. Le président du Centre de recherche urbaine, le professeur Nazrul Islam, affirme que nous pouvons encore vivre dans la métropole grâce aux plans implemented de Dhaka.

Cependant, les urban challenges actuels sont extrêmement difficult et nuisent au comfortable living des citoyens. L’Unanticipated expansion et le lack of foresight dans les planifications précédentes ont créé de nouveaux problèmes.
